These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Abu Terminal website at abu-terminal.com and the Abu Terminal application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Abu Terminal is an educational trading simulator. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, brokerage services, or access to real financial markets. All trading scenarios within the Service use historical data for educational and simulation purposes only.

No real money is at risk when using Abu Terminal. Simulated profits and losses do not represent actual financial outcomes. Past performance of simulated scenarios does not indicate future results in real trading.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account registration

You may create an account using Google OAuth or a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Create automated scripts or bots to access the Service
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service to generate or distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and functionality of the Abu Terminal Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, user interface, behavioral algorithms, educational content, simulation logic, and data — is the intellectual property of Abu Terminal and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. User content

Any feedback, suggestions, or other content you submit through the Service may be used by us to improve the product without any obligation or compensation to you. You retain ownership of any original content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content in connection with the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services including Supabase, PostHog, Google OAuth, Google AdSense, TradingView, Binance, and Vercel. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, data, or results provided through the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ABU TERMINAL AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Abu Terminal and its developer from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the Service.
